J-N-L Wrought Iron, Inc. was established in 1985 by Jim & Nedra Lemke to create a wrought iron product of old world quality, designed and built to last for generations to come. Since then, we have provided exceptional service, quality craftsmanship and, most importantly, customer satisfaction to our clients.
Ornate works are forged and shaped from steel, copper, brass, bronze, aluminum, and stainless steel to created gates, staircases, light fixtures, railings, fencing, and many other pieces of iron work. Our craftsmen are not only very skilled, but willing to go far beyond normal standards to create new works of art.
Our lead blacksmith, Jim Lemke, grew up in a family fencing business that did wrought iron work as one of the product lines. Traveling to Mexico, Guatemala, Romania, Lithuania, Hungary and Israel on missions and touring trips has created many opportunities to study old iron work that has been passed down for many generations. His study houses a substantial library from which he pulls design concepts.
We work as a team to create each piece, whether straightforward or more ornamental. Iron work done well is the result of each craftsman interjecting his thoughts and experience into the piece. A good piece of wrought iron should look like it was easy to do. It is the sign that the artisans have done the job well.
We are always learning. With each project, whether it involves more ornamental iron work seen on our gates or chandeliers or targets maximum architectural integrity and clean lines, or both, we build on a solid platform of skills and understanding. This is part of our commitment to creating original, high quality wrought iron work.

OLD SCHOOL - is the best way to describe J-N-L Wrought Iron - The care and attention to detail is outstanding. Jim worked with us from start to finish on the design, construction and the end result was absolutely beautiful. We could not be happier. We have several other projects in mind and will definitely use J-N-L Wrought Iron again. Thank You again for the beautiful window boxes.
Dear J-N-L Wrought Iron, Where do I start? Bes and I have enjoyed working with you and Jim for over 10 years. From the first day we met Jim we knew that he had special talents. Bes is a bit of an artist and she and Jim worked together to design a beautiful gate. I was the general contractor installing the gate and Jim was very helpful with ideas and specs for the construction of the masonry pillars and the electrical requirements for the electric gate opener. J-N-L has maintained the gate since installation assuring perfect operation. We have had J-N-L design and build iron hand railings for my mothers house and our house. The project at my mother's house was small and Jim visited my mom personally, designed a beautiful rail and had his crew do a perfect installation. He treated my mom like she was a queen. I would recommend J-N-L if you are looking for truly special iron work that will serve and impress for generations Charlie Folkman
